Service Description

Encaustic wax painting is an ancient art dating back over 3500 years. Learn the history, safety, and tools required to start painting with this mesmerizing medium. Then comes the fun part. You will use a mix of molten bees wax and damar resin (encaustic wax medium) and other art materials including alcohol inks, dry pigments and oil paint sticks, charcols and other ephemera to build up the layers of your painting. Now we turn up the heat! Each layer of your waxy painting will be fused into the previous layer with a heatgun or blowtorch. Don't worry! I'll be there, by your side every step of the way. Cancellation Policy

Please email lisaferrariart@gmail.com to discuss your cancellation. Life happens to all of us. If you cancel six or more days before your workshop, your deposit/full tutition fees will be refunded. If it's within five days your deposit will be forfeited or if something has come up that can't be moved, you are welcome to use that deposit to rebook for a time more convenient for you. Only one cancellation will be allowed. I'm sure that you understand that my time, and yours is precious.
